FAD Management Options - IWG - old

The FAD Management Options Intersessional Working Group was established at WCPFC11 (see copy of terms of reference below).  On 1 May 2015 CCMs were advised by WCPFC Circular of the plans to progress the work of the working group during 2015 Circular 2015/26. 

There have been two formal meetings of the FAD Mgmt Options IWG in 2015:

1. the first meeting was held 27 - 28 November immediately prior to WCPFC12 in Bali, Indonesia.  Further information is available here. 

2. the second meeting was held 28 - 29 September immediately following TCC12 in Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia.  Further information is available here.

 In 2020, the FAD Management Options Intersessional Working Group (FADMO-IWG) progressed its work through email communications the summary report and other related documents can be accessed at FADMO-IWG04. The COVID-19 pandemic continued to disrupt travels and the FADMO-IWG continued to progress its work through email communications, please refer to the following links for 2021, 2022 (a, b), and 2023 FADMO-IWG-related documents.

In February 2024, the FADMO-IWG Chair informed through WCPFC Circular 2024/09 (see below) of the FADMO-IWG Work Plan for 2024 -2026. The said work plan was guided by WCPFC20 discussions and agreements.
