Regional Observer Programme

Implementation of the Regional Observer Programme (ROP) is based on the use of existing regional, sub-regional and national observer programmes already in place when the ‘Conservation and Management Measure for the Regional Observer Programme’ Conservation and Management Measure for the Regional Observer Programme (application/pdf icon 57.95 KB) entered into force on 15 February 2008.  CMM 2007-01 provides for gradual development of the ROP through 2012.

The Authorization Status of National and Sub-regional Observer Programmes in the ROP (application/pdf icon 33.42 KB) will be revised as more observer programmes are granted interim authorization.
