The 11th Philippine Tuna Congress was held at General Santos City, Philippines, 27-29 August 2009. The theme of the Congress 2009 was “Changing Mindsets toward Sustainable Fisheries”. Over two hundred participants from various sectors attended the Congress and around 20 keynote speeches, messages and presentations were addressed.
