Seven members of the Commission’s Northern Committee completed the 5th Regular Session of the Committee at Nagasaki, Japan on Thursday 10th.

The Executive Director represented the Commission Secretariat at the Second Pacific Tuna Forum held at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea 2-3 September.

The 11th Philippine Tuna Congress was held at General Santos City, Philippines, 27-29 August 2009. The theme of the Congress 2009 was “Changing Mindsets toward Sustainable Fisheries”.
